    Ricoh mp c3001

    Good day or what ever time it's I'm have problems when I do a photo copy it comes out with tick black line at the top end of the copy.when I print from my computer it comes out clean and good.need help on this photocopy problem. Thanks in advance

    That line is an edge shadow. You need to do image adjustments in accordance the service manual. It shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes.

      i would inspect the glass and clean accordingly.

        I think Slim is basically saying the same thing, but compare the copy size to the size of the original in both directions.
        I'm betting that it's reduced, and you're seeing the edge of the paper - and probably only when you use the ADF?
        If so, Adjust the DF magnification in SP mode.

          Also registration and edge erase could require adjustment. There is a section in Replacements and Adjustments on doing all the image adjustments.

            Clean the little skinny glass along the left side of the big glass. alcohol on a rag would do GOOD LUCK

              Also try to reposition or replace the pressure plate assembly and check if the ADF fixing screws are tight.
