    Problem updating fw

Good morning everyone. for some time I am trying to update two MP9002SP, but the machine does not present me the firmware screen to boot, it tells me that the fw is updated and does not let me overwrite it.
It is true that one of them already has the latest version, but I am interested in rewriting it because it had some random error code, but the other one has an older version and the same thing happens to me.
I always follow the procedure of creating the "romdata" folder in the root directory and then copy the files there, I never had any problem until now.
The same thing happens to me when I try to update a PRO8210.
Any idea what could be happening?
    Thanks.

print out the current firmware versions, and test on a PC with "ricoh firmware update tools", see if anything has changed, most models
they do not allow overwriting, or downgrading...which error code you have?

      Hello

What kind of SD do you use?, in my experience some machines needs the "old" sd-cards, if you try to update an "old" machine with a SD HC card it fails, or give an SC Error. If you have some old wrecks you can use their cards.

Try downloading the SD memory card formatter for Windows from Ricoh to reformat your SD card.

              It may have failed.

Are you using Package or individual modules?

Are you putting a folder with the product code inside the romdata folder?

No but that firmware is the only one that is on the card, inside the romdata folder that is in the root directory, it always worked.

                      The proper structure should be:
                      romdata
                      -product code
                      -firmware
There some models that may work without the product code folder but not always.
