As it appears to me, the COLOR Development Units should support more than 270K of work.
But it all depends on the use, and the type of work that is required of the device and said units.

Although sometimes it is a lottery.

there isnt bullettin about, the procedure is on the manual, preferably first of replace, you must go in sp mode and put to 1 the sp3-701-* , and reboot the machine.

Are you referring to bulletin 001 concerning removing the PCDU Preseal? If so I have it but I am getting an error trying to upload it. Message me with an email address and I can send it to you.

is that the one that discusses removing the seal? and either you flip the spring or not? and then reattach the new seal? the ones that i have seen have a sheet with the instructions on it. if that is what is being referred to.

Apparently there were a number of development units damage by improper removal. From the bulletin
Make sure to completely remove the orange tape. The ribs may break inside the unit, if you remove the
preset seal without removing the orange tape. As a result, broken ribs may fall into the Development Unit
and cause white lines to appear on the printouts. See the photo below. See Removing the PCDU Preset
Seal Procedure for the correct method for removing the seal
