    Hi,
I have very strange jaming in A1035. Wheh te copier is cold in the morning they jaming on exit senzor. Always in the same position 1cm before comes out of copier. I check jams in SP mode and always is no. 14.
After 10 my be 15 jams when copier warmed they works without any problem!!!! Im not shure if this is mechanical problem becouse the paper stop just in the same position. I check exit senzor I thing is ok. Change transfer belt without beter result...
Do you have any similar problem with this copier?

The jams happen in single side or duplex mode? In duplex mode maybe is the solenoid that acts the gate to duplex unit.

Single side! I know problems with rubber on solenoids.

I was thinking pressure roller too but may also be the paper, static maybe, Try some fresh paper before the machine is warmed up.

Did you change the Transfer BLADE as well as the belt? This can grip the belt and stop the machine as the tail of the paper leave the transfer unit.

Try feeding longer paper and see if the sheet exits further and jams at the same tail edge position.

How do you know the exit sensor is ok, might be worth trying a new one as the error is a late jam so sounds like the sensor just isn't seeing it go by.

It sure sounds like the solenoids on the paper separation unit are not firing on time because they're stuck to the link cushions(little rubbery pads that silence the solenoid return, not on the solenoid plunger))

                  Just remembered,

There was a bulletin regarding jams on the AF1035 concerning the fusing exit sensor (It's the one on the black unit screwed to the top of the right hand door. AW010061 (?) I think the new sensor was red instead of black.

                    [Problem]
Paper jams at fuser exit area and registers Jam Code 14 (Copy Jam History, SP 7-507). Usually single copies will exit, but jam occurs on multi sheet runs. This happens mostly when feeding 11 x 8.5 paper from tray 1.
                    [Cause]
Paper is arriving at the fuser exit sensor too late.
False readings by the Fusing Exit Sensor
                    [Action]
                    1. Change orientation of paper in tray 1 to 8.5x 11.
                    2. Increase Registration Buckle SP1-003 to a slightly higher value for each tray which jams.
                    3. Enter Special Service Programs by pressing the # key and the Copy SP Icon on the screen at the same time. Enter Sp 5-958 Feed Clutch Start Timing Adjustment. The factory default value is 42, try raising this value to 50 or 52.
                    4. Check for paper curl issues causing paper to hesitate at fuser entrance guides.
                    5. Clean the and/or replace the Fusing Exit Sensor (AW010061), located on the Transfer Door Assembly.
                    6. Fuser Top cover has paper dust where the sensor shines, clean the top cover of the fuser.

I had the same problem. Changed the whole right side door. At this time i was fed up with struggling with the problem and did not bother to pin point the cause.

you need to replace the fuser jam sensor in the right hand door. The sensors were marginal at best. They had a tech bulletin for this problem.

I cut that answer from the Ricoh global knowledgebase, just checked my ref's and my #34 is a catalog update too.
I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

That TSB is the parts catalog update for the new Fusing Exit Sensor.
                              – The following have been changed to Chromiumfree
components to further minimize potential impact on the
                              environment.
The specification of the sensor has been changed to eliminate false

Jam Code 14 - Fusing Exit Sensor jams.
