sc 622 caused by the cable in tray 1 LCT rubbing on the frame. causes itermittent fault sc622. NOT PCB's I had this Ricoh are now aware. repaired by taping of all the sharp edges.

Had similar on AF2075, Blacked out the op panel. opened right tandem tray and fault cleared. check the loom behind the lower left corner of the right hand tandem cover, it can short against the centre support rail.

Hi spaceman, I have a MPC7500 that is at nearly 2 million and is starting to give intermittent sc622, it does seem to be related to the deck however for the life of me I cant see any worn thru wiring. Can you advise me where exactly you have seen the worn wiring? Cheers.

Could be THIN Sheathing on the Wires too. You can have voltage leak throw a thin enough shielding with the proper metals.
