We have a mpc4500 that the cust set full bleed in the driver on and then after only a few pages had badly stained transfer ptr roller - causing marks on following pages. The facts are this model range (including 2500/3000/3500/4500) have NO cleaning mechanism for the PTR - so full bleed will end in tears. Why on earth it is allowed in the driver is beyond me.

Full bleed should only be run when the copy paper is larger than the original. i.e. 11 x 17 onto 12 x 18 paper.

Full bleed is a bad idea on an Athena. This family suffers from enough cleaning problems with general usage alone, never mind full coverage. A 25cpm machine doing the work of a Pro C900.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.
