    Dev unit?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Are you using OEM toner and is the copier in a high humidity environment. The toner supply tube can get clogged, it maybe necessary to vacuum it out while it is disconnceted from the pump and the supply ends.

back up NVRAM to SD card, then do an engine clear, sp mode 5-801. if it says non oem toner afterward, set sp 5051 to turn off the message.
Don't take that toner with me!

Did your proposal. but it did not solve the problem.
It just come tio my mind that the display icon show low toner as well. but when loking in to the devbox i can see that there are toner enough.
I even swaped devbox from another m/c.
So it looks like NVRAm are faulty???

clean nozzle , look out for small lumps, the toner is fed too fast and compresses and does not drop into toner pipe to pump.

                      Hey Guys
I dont want to be rud but if you read my postings you will se that i did all the sugestions you havetold me.
If i swaped devbox from another machine that means also TD sensor. if i swaped tonerpump that also include new lines, so no clogged toner there.
Since it fills the devbox with toner the pump are working.
It must be something else. It looks like NVRAM fault.

If, as you say, the dev hopper is filling up with toner your problem is probably the dev unit drive. You are getting toner forced into the entrance of the hopper by the toner pump, but if the dev unit is not turning the toner will not reach the TD sensor and will build up at the entrance hole, so it looks like the dev unit has toner but near end will display.

Remove the Transfer belt and PCU. Look at the dev unit drive gear inside the machine. check for damage to the gear. If the gear is ok it could be the dev drive clutch .

Toner near end is a calculation based on pixel count and toner pump on time. It is not directly related to the amount of toner actually in the cartridge. Dont worry about it until it reads Toner Empty. This is based on the Developer TD sensor.
