I do not work on a lot of these so I will ask. The call was for jamming, I pulled a report and it showed the problem to be the fuser exit. Is there something I should be looking for? How sensitive is it to dust, this is a construction site.
LD135, fuser exit jam.

There are two gates above the fuser in the 'Interchange Unit' that sometimes stick against the damper pads, usually the pads turn to goo, so I just remove them. All of them, there are three IIRC. The result is generally a complaint that it jammed over night or jams in the morning then works for some time and then jams again after it has sat. Scanner/ADF section lifts off and you can get to the interchange section reasonably easy.Comment
