    Scanner IS450 jamming

Once a while original had 1 portion of lead edge pinched and jammed at ADF glass. I checked for burr at white plate, all smooth. The pinched toward lead edge image side of original. I am confused.

      Hi LTD,

I have spent many years and hours of my life fixing these scanners.

Ricoh Modified the white plate mylar 6 times to my knowledge and it still didn't work. What I would try is replacing the white plate and the mylar strip with the new modified parts.

You need to order the white plate, the white plate reference decal and the mylar itself. Replace these and that scanner will be fine for around another 100,000 scans. Then replace them again.

One other thing to check, the guide rollers just above the glass, the springs fall off these from the back quite alot.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers!
