    Ricoh 1013 jam A

Intermittently jams at a. Mainly stops at the fuser entrance (before going in to the fuser)

I replaced the fusing exit sensor. Also jams at bypass too same place.

Try to adjust the cover switch. Happens often with these machines.

If it's the door switch then why is it showing jam a and not "close door"?

Door switch opens momentarily during a copy. You might get a beep but the fakse door open condition does last long enough for the light to come on. When the door is detected as open all motors stop. When the door is seen as closed again, paper is at a sensor and is detected as a jam. There will be no jam logged in the jam history. Depending on the MFP model, you might get jams at power counts in the jam location counters.
