can anyone help me with the open door error on the ricoh c720 i can not go past this part as it shows the front doors open abd i cant bypass this point when i turn on the machine, PLEASE!!!

There's no trick here. Just close the door. If the machine says the door is open then check the door sensors to make sure the tab inside the door is actually triggering them.

I did that but it still says that door is open the icon is flashing showing there is an open switch it looks like

um, did you put your meter across the switches and check?

Sometimes it happens when you have blown fuse in Power Supply Unit ...Read the Blown Fuse Conditions in Service Manual and check the Fuses in PSU. Regard's

Come on, you've got to be kidding right? You can't troubleshoot a C720 by asking a question here and then ordering a the part someone said might possibly
be the problem. Don't you think maybe you should have a tech look at the machine first? You are not going to be able to keep a C720 running without having a knowledgeable tech on call.

First of all the only reason I'm writing this is because my tech is very sick n there are not too many ricoh techs in nyc I've been trying to find one but maybe u can answer that question do u know a good tech in nyc instead of being critical about service but I appreciate your help

If you are looking for an available Ricoh tech in NYC, you might want to post it in the Employment forum. There are possibly quite a few Ricoh tech here that wouldn't minding moving to NY.

Within 40 miles of New York 10001 zip code there are 3 Ricoh dealers (2 are in NJ), 4 Savin dealers (2 are in NJ) and 11 Lanier dealers all of which are in New York state. Try one of them.

im not saying that but trying to search online everyone says they dont work on the C720 so i aint sick just looking for some assistance!!!
