    SCX-6545N image unit dirty prints

    Hi people,
In one SCX-6545N the prints are coming dirty, changed the image unit, it's good for about 10.000 print and then the prints are dirty again. The bag waste in the toner sometimes is totally full too. The copy its dirty because the toner falls from the rec blade.
Already change 3 times the image unit, its ok from 10k to 20k but always making the same.
    Some idea?

    Generic toner? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

What are they printing on? Kind of sounds like the waste toner management system is getting plugged by dust from extra dusty paper. Or there is something else causing it to get plugged.
Are all the fans working? Could be that the waste toner is getting cooked by a non-operational cooling fan.

Some of these are experiencing bad toner causing gritty copies and smudgy print.

There are defective toner cartridges from Samsung. The port for the waste toner from the drum on the drum unit does not open fully. Waste supposed to go back into waste area of toner cartridge. It is opened by insertion of the toner cartridge. Waste backs up in drum and dirty copies result. Eventually grinding noise. You pull out drum unit and can't even turn the drum. Samsung issued a bulletin about this a few years ago. See it on 6345,6545,6555

Thank you! Any idea what is going on with the 6545 machines? I'm getting the same problems. The new model would have this problem rectified? Grinding noise with new toners, gritty copies. Replacing toner usually works.
