Is there a code instead of the xx-xx? is it something like h4-01 (or some other alpha numeric code) never seen xx .

OOOOO bad polygon motor in the laser unit. Laser unit on this isnt bad to replace. I think the part # is DUNTK0384RSZZ. for the whole lsu.

Most times you can change just the polygon motor PN: RMOTN0028QSZZ. It is a little cheaper than the whole unit.

I always just replace the laser unit after getting just the laser board and finding that was not the problem.

it is pretty simple on that model. Take the center exit tray off and it is under there. 4 screws and your good.

Just remove the four screws that secure the laser to the body, but don't lift just yet. Make sure all four corners are free, especially at the rear. There are two alignment pins at the machine rear that can break off if you tip the laser back when lifting. Comprende? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You will have to remove the rear cover to disconnect the LSU cable. To reach the two rear screws, tilt the MCU back by removing the screws for the pwb holder, and disconnect the connectors at the top of the pwb.
You'll see the screws for easy removal with a long blade screwdriver.
Good warning BC, I never thought those locating pins could break off.

I only did it once. It was a surprise to me too, and it's more difficult to position the laser correctly without those pins. =^..^=

you don't have to take the back off on this model. If it were a ar 205 then yes the laser screws are hidden behind the board. This model is too easy. Maybe 10 minutes at the most.
