Error code reset on Sharp AR-C260m

I have an H-3 code on a Sharp AR-C260m and I've reset the thermostat and cleaned out the fuser jams but the sequence to get into the service mode is different from when I worked on the older Sharps. I was used to the CROP or CI0I method but I don't know how to get to sim 14 on this one to test out the fuser. Any help would be appreciated.

    Only slightly different:
    #/P > * > C > * > 14 > Start > Execute > Yes > CA

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

As well as resetting the thermistat, check for toner/paper dust buildup on the contact thermisters for each roller. Also check the lamps. I have had this error many times before, reset it, machine works fine..... but turns into a recall for same error again next week due to either of the above. Check it first time to prevent another call.

        resetting error code

Thanks for the replies, I'd used the sequence you mentioned already and still couldn't get into service mode. I ended up starting the machine with the fuser slid out, that was the only way it would let me get in and put in the simulation 14. Once I did that, it warmed up normally and worked as advertised.

          C260 H4

Check BOTH the upper & lower thermistats. The lower heat roller will pickup enough heat from the upper that it will run with the lower thermistat popped. Eventually, you'll get another H4. Hope that helps.
          Hope that helps !
