AR286 drum scratched (tiny spot on it)

I have experienced few of such cases, the drum's surface has many tiny mark distributed all over it (it can't be removed, it is not a stain. it is a scratched mark, very tiny, as big as a sand). so when photostat, the copy also has tiny spot on it. it looks like the mark of developer, but i have no idea what make this mark. anyone know it, pls let me know. keep replacing the drum is very cost

I assume that you've ruled out label adhesive on the drum.

If it truly is pin holes, that is caused by arcing. Arcing that could come from the primary charge, the transfer charge, or the mag roller. I would probably start replacing parts in that order.

If you've replaced several drum units, the primary has been changed a few times already. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Check the developer unit. The gap may be too big (mag brush too high, rubbing on drum surface). Also contaminants in the DV could be damaging the drum in conjunction with the gap problem. Check the spacer collars for wear or lock-up and inspect the rear drum DSD aluminum flange where the collars ride for pitting. One time we had to change the toner hopper unit suspecting it was warped and contacting the drum surface.
Some or none of these may apply.
