    sharp ar-bc320

need help on whites lines on different developers ,
have 2 copiers to test with ,
when running test print , not off glass, directly from printer , getting whites lines on cyan and magenta ,
tried new units , same problem, move unit to another color slot , (modify cart slightly , ie swap cyan for yellow ) , problem follows cartridge
not really an experienced sharp tech , but putting cyan with problem into 2nd copier prints fine , so in one case problem seems to follow cart in same copier , but not to another machine ,
i know when they are installed a adjustment is run , my only concluion is bad develpoers or ANOTHER ADJ LIKE TRANS OR DEV BIAS?
    ANY HELP?

Are these white lines front to rear or in the direction of paper travel?
If front to rear and spaced equally you probably have cracked drive gears.

Zootech is correct. If front to rear, then it's the DV/Toner drive gears. (they've been updated twice) If it's paper moving direction, then the cartridge is bad. There was a firmware update to run the cartridges backward so the toner doesn't pack against the doctor blade. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope that helps !

        more info

the motors and drive packs were swapped , plus like i said earlier , inside the same machine the problem follows the dv cartridge , you can clip the plasic tabs and we swapped the little chip peice on the end and had the cyan , which had the lines , swapped with the yellow , and the problem moved with the cyan cart , real problem is that we have swapped to new cart's and they have same problem, once a new cart fixed problem , twice it didnt , when we took cyan cart from machine thas was showing problem in one copier , in 2 different slots , to another copier - it didnt have problem , i was thinking maybe adjustment or firmware , may try firmware , i dont think its cracked drive gears , we thought that too, thats why we moved cart , and then later moved entire drive packs and motors around , we think maybe the dev cart are all coming bad from fact , but would need some doc from sharp to prove to supplier
i do appreciate all feedback though!
