    sharp 450 E7-11

I know it the shading trouble but what to do to correct. I cleaned all optics real well. went to 46-17 and where to from there. In book there is a 63-2 for used to execute shading. when I entered, machine gave me a message TROUBLE (E6-14) which is CIS-ASIE COMMUNICATION TROUBLE.
anybody with any suggestion on which way to go from here? just hoping it something simple. anyway appreciate any info

Assuming the lamps are coming on, I'd check the pins in the EF-1 connector. If they're good replace the harness between the EF-1 as these are known to cause problems.
    Hope that helps !

tmaged is right on the mark as always.

The connector from the scanner to the MFP PWB can be poorly connected or a pin bent. Also the internal harnass for the EF1 is known to cause a wide variety of CIS related problems affecting side-2 only. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Another thing to check is the Mother PWB. It can cause all king of strange problems and E7-11 is one of them.
