[CQ] Mirroring images/characters MX6240 DSPF SCANNER

    Hi All,
I have MX6240 that produces mirror image/characters when making copy via platen glass and ADF, print is fine. Cleaned optics and update firmware but not difference. Have attached sample, add and platen glass copy. Please expand image to see mirroring effect.

Sorry for not attaching the sample, now attached. However, the issue has been narrowed to the CCD as the duplex copy via the DSPF has the 2nd side ok, no mirroring.

        Hi Phil,
All SM parts are ok. The problem is with the scanner as prints are fine. Also with double-sided copies through the single pass feeder, the 2nd side comes out good with no ghosting/double image.

Check that the mirrors are not 'skewed'.

Did you happen to remove any of those mirrors? Remember that copiers use only front surface mirrors. If you install the reflective surface at the back of the mirror you will get both a reflective and a refractive image slightly offset. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No work done on the mirror but as you mentioned will have a look at the mirrors
