Have the exact same issue with a BP- 50C65, so far had 3 bags of dev and a new dev unit still the same, have also checked the erase lamps and they're all in the correct position

Just fitted a replacement MC PWB to see if that helps, trouble is it will be a couple of months for the issue to show again.

Are you talking about the technical report for a gear becoming dislodged, if so I've had that off and all looks good. Anyhow, that would surely result in a F code I would have thought

The dev on these doesn't actually have a specified life, its supposed to last the life of the machine

600k life? WTH? Did they mentioned it officially on manual? Every time I repair it, it took about 100k only then broken or stuck or etc.

OK, I checked some reference, and it really does says Approx. Life / Yield 600k...

Just went on a call yesterday, fuser is FUBAR,35k prints only, not even 2 months that we installed that machine. Ordering new ones through synex with latest part number but they hit us with "item may be substituted" told my GM to refuse old fusers and demand a refund if they don't sent us the latest ones.

We actually just had to replace the DS22 fuser that was in an existing machine for 2 months (verified 6-8 upon install), and it shredded. We deserve reimbursement at this point.

Let them leave.... They'll be back. Same thing happens with Toshiba and Xerox around here. They leave for the price, and realize that the machine and service are terrible in comparison. They get what they pay for.
