Sharp mx4141 firmware / scan to google drive

Hi please let me know if you have the latest firmware for this unit and if there’s a way to set it up for scan to google drive or workspace. The sharp OSA button just goes to a white screen. Thanks

Does your machine have an OSA MX-AMX2 APPLICATION COMMUNICATION MODULE installed? I have attached a Bulletin from a newer Machine which explains the requirements for OSA TT-022516_1.pdf

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't look like it - here's the config page Device Configuration
Paper Feeding Options Stand/MPD&2000 Sheet Paper Drawer
Paper Exit Options Saddle Stitch Finisher
      Punch Module
Memory Size Copier Memory Base Memory 1024 MB
      Optional Memory 0 MB
      Total Memory 1024 MB
Printer Memory Base Memory 3072 MB
      Optional Memory 0 MB
      Total Memory 3072 MB
      Hard Disk Drive 305.2 GB
      Options Fax Module
      Enhanced Compression Kit
Is it possible to scan to google drive from this machine or to install apps? I don't see a way that matches the more recent versions of the machine.

Do you think a firmware upgrade would add these features or make the setup easier. It won't let me browse for folders for scan to folder.

      Thanks

Your best option is to scan to a folder, and point it to the Google Drive folder residing on a PC. If it's just going to one folder, it's not a big deal, but otherwise you'd need a newer machine.

The MX4141 should have the mx-amx2 as a standard if i'm not mistaken...
