    MX3050 and newer electrical connectors

I have a silly question regarding the 2 wire connectors on these models that go to the paper lift motors and the clutches. I have a hard time releasing these connectors as the male connector is fully seated into the female end with nothing to grab onto. If I try to release them by pulling on the wires about 50% of the time I just pull the wires out and have to replace the harness. Does anybody have any hints for these wonderful connectors? Thanks.

The lift motor housing makes in nearly impossible to get even the smallest set of hemostats on the connector to pull it.

The best option is to never cut your nails too short on your thumb and index finger and use them to pull the connector using the little flared edges. If you have thin fingernails then that isn't a great option.

Put small flat blade screwdrivers on either side of the connector and pry it up.

Thanks. I won't have time to grow my fingernails out as retirement is only a few days away. Just a little gun shy with these after a bad experience with that wonderful harness.
