    New BP Squeaks

I've bumped into at least 3 BP color machines (5-10k meter counts) with the same noticeable squeak during the copy process. Shame on me, I wasn't there for the noise so I didn't address them but I am sure I will. But I was curious enough to run diagnostics and heard the squeak during the Transfer Load check.

Anyone else experience this? I hope it's a quick fix and not a potential bulletin.

We have replaced the fuser (because it was necessary) and still we had the squeak. When we tried to use 25-2 seperatly on colours developers we also hear a squeak.

Anyone ever find a fix for this? I've got 2 BP's with relatively low meter counts and both have a chirp sound when running transfer load check, even with primary belt unit and all 4 drums removed from machine. Today I replaced the main drive unit on a BP-70C36 and still have the chirp when running transfer load check.

What about the secondary transfer unit? That runs with the primary, and that's pretty much the only thing left when transfer load runs...

So, I've got an MX-7081 chirping with transfer load and that's after removing all drums, primary and secondary transfer unit. So this morning I'm going to replace the black main drive unit. On the BP-70C31 I removed all drums and primary transfer unit but not the secondary so I'll test that later today.

New Black Main Drive Unit took care of the chirp noise on the MX-7081. Will be testing the BP-70C31 this afternoon with secondary transfer unit removed during transfer load check.

Technically the waste box also drives during that, as the drive motor drives the black drum, black DV, primary transfer, and waste box, but I doubt that's it.
