    BP-70C series fuser

Has anyone experienced 1 part of a print not fusing? It's on the rear side of a copy or print. I've torn the fuser apart and found nothing that I can see that would cause it.

I would check the spring that hold the pressure roller in place and next check the that the pressure roller slides forward and back easily on the track.

Would be easiest to swap the fuser so you'll know it's definitely at fault. Then you can try to visually compare both of them as well. On the 70/71 series' the fusing pressure springs could come off track when rebuilding the unit. But if it's doing it out of nowhere, I would think that adjusting the fuser temp in system settings from 16 to 23lb might make a difference. Otherwise maybe 43-1 could be of assistance.
