    SHARP MX-M350U CQ SPF only

    WHen you copy through the spf leaves a thick black bar across the bottom of the page, well pretty much half the page.. When you copy on glass it's fine and when you print internally it looks fine.. I believe it's just a setting but not sure which one HELP!

      Are you sure the main scan glass & slit glass are seated correctly, and the doc feeder is level?

      That image with the 'sawtooth' effect is usually given due to overhead fluro lighting near the machine. If the doc feeder is not level or scan glass is not level, light can be entering at the left hand side of the scanner.

          It's level, but now I'm getting an E6-11 code to go with it

              E6-11 is a CSI shading trouble; check and clean the white reference plate, check the harness and make sure all LEDS are coming on and the glass cover is not full of dust inside. It could also be the doc feeder is not parallel to the scanner.

                  Thats what I'm thinking....... especially with that effect on the page.

                      If it's just copies you may want to check the alignment of the SPF with the slit glass. It is a common mistake to try to adjust out original skew by changing the angle of the SPF. All this does is mis-align the white plate with the slit glass. =^..^=
                      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
