    AR-M450N fuser issues

one unit toner not completely fusing to paper. The prints look fine but if I rub the copies some (not all) toner will come off on my finger

The other unit wrinkles the paper around every fourth sheet but does fuse the toner.

I've read about the wrinkle issue with fusers that have been used but the one with the toner smudging looks fairly new. Is there anything I can do here?

How freely does the fuser move? On the ARM450 series you could run the pressure release engaged or not and it normally did not make a difference. The fuser should not turn freely as a general rule, also look to see if there is a gap between the heat roller and press roller. Can't really think of anything else that wouldn't cause a code also.

      Good luck.

Has your customer been fiddling with the envelope setting levers? About 5 years back, every time I rebuilt one of those fusers I'd take the envelope levers. It's one less thing for the customer to fiddle with. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
