    AR-M280 Error code E7-02

From what I can find on the forum this is a Laser unit error where the LD board is not seeing anything. Is this still true for the M280?

From what I understand the previous Sharp tech replaced polygon mtr, DC controller and PWB board on the maint sheet and its still down.

    Any advice appreciated !

You might take a close look at the condition of the ribbon cable from the laser to the PCU. If mistreated, the foil contacts at the ends can be folded over, ripped, missing, incompletely inserted, etc. If that's what you find, I've had very good luck with trimming off the damaged end with heavy shears (as long as you have enough good contact left). Or replace the ribbon cable.

Or, when the tech was inside the LSU they left a connector undone, or mis-assembled the LSU.

My guess is that this is tech induced. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Could definitely be the cable, otherwise the LSU is probably gonna have to be replaced (unless tech-induced). Make sure you use the AR-M280 LSU, cause the M350, M450 and M280 are all different.

Now that you mention it ... probably, yes.

                Blackcat,

Hytek tells me this is a board only. Do I need to order the entire assy or do you think I can just replace the board?

Thanks again for all your help !

According to my reference DUNT-7093DS15 is the laser unit assembly. I would change the assembly. My information does not mesh with your information from Hytek. =^,,^=
