Copier will not let user copy from cassette or by pass tray when 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 is installed in either tray . copier screen message is, Paper in the selected tray cannont be used for the selected mode. Using the adf or placing original on glass same message appears. If i replace paper with standard letter every thing works fine. Any tips? Thanks for replys.

not sure if it applies to this model or not but sometimes having Offset turned on can cause these kind of problems. Try turning it off and see if that helps.Comment

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
