I suspect that one or both of the thermistors is crumbling.

This sort of problem goes all the way back to the Canon NP-6650's. I simple fuser rebuild could turn into a down machine, just by touching a thermistor that has so completely dried out that it crumbles when you touch it. The traces literally fall off of the back of the tiny PWB that the thermistor is mounted on.

It's also possible that you may have pinched one of the thermistor wires to the frame during reassembly.

It's going to be related to the thermistors. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks BC, You ever had one of those days where the simple things turn into
tech lighting? even after all these years I'm not going to be shocked.

I remember that Canon NP-6650 because that fuser actually melted down to the point that I couldn't get the rollers separated. Then (like a genius) I flipper the switch off.

On the NP-6650 the main drive motor runs for about 2 seconds as part of the shutdown procedure. So not only did I melt down the fuser, but I shattered 3 fuser drive gears. The rollers I was prepared for, not so the gears.

If I had been a little sharper I would have just pulled the plug. The main drive motor would not have turned, and a couple of rollers & thermistors would have got it back up and running. What a mess. =^..^=
