This error occurs when the heating temperature in the fuser unit is not reached during warmup or operation time.
Causes

• Heater lamp disconnection or burnt out.
• Thermistor defective or dirty.
• Low power voltage in the mains supply.
• Thermal fuse out or thermostat cutout.

Solution

• Check the continuity of lamp, thermostat and thermal fuse and replace.
• Measure power using voltmeter and wait till it stabilizes.
• Clear with command 14 ie for Sharp ar5316/5516 series, use
• #-interrupt-C- interrupt then enter 14 and press copy key.
