    AR-M155 service light & Copy quality

    How can i go into service mode and clear the service light on the display.

    I have install new drum and blade and copies still white wash, faint.
    Do i need to set the toner concetration or is the deleveloper worn out.

    If so how do i set up the toner level and set new deleloper in the service mode.

    Any Help would be much appreciated, i normally work on canon copiers.

      If you have cleaned the optics, and the drum is new, yes developer is next.

      Sorry I can't help too much with specifics. There isn't a US version of the AR-M155. I can make some educated guesses, though. It looks remarkably like a Jaguar or Puma.

      Once you've vacuumed out the developer thoroughly, and poured in the new, re-assemble.

      No developer stir is necessary. The values are preset.

      To enter service mode try Clear, Exposure Select, Clear, Exposure Select.
      To reset the developer counter press 24, Start, 5, Start.
      To exit press reset 3 to 4 times or turn main power off/on.

      My favorite feature about this copier is that the top of the developing unit is wide open. On my first call on this model I dumped most of the developer in my shoes.

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Thanks for the reply.
          The right sequence to enter service mode is found by trial and error is
          # * ca # gets you into s/mode.

          Ordered dev for copier, hopefully that should cure copy quality.

              if you print a black page then you can see what part is faint on the page and then check to see that part of the developer/fuser/rollers/etc and see whats damaged
