Soon after drum/developer/blade replacement the LSU seal glass over DV unit becomes dirty from toner spillage and copies are faint. DV unit also has a layer of toner at the top. I have to clean both every 100 copies. I have done many replacements but i see this for first time!! What's the cause for this, a faulty toner sensor inside DV unit maybe? Any suggestions please?

Are you using OEM toner & developer?
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

This mylar being deformed will also cause a build up on the main charge. Usually it is right in the middle. Also check the side seals. PSEL-0755FCZZ and PSEL-0754FCZZ. They also can cause toner/ developer leaking issues. Your problem is the seal over the mag roller. The part number can be found on the toner box section of the parts guide.Comment

I have to agree with mtech.
I finally Googled the model #. This is a relative of the Panther. One of two things happen with those upper developer seals:
1) The top cover over the mag roller warps downward scraping toner off of the mag roller. And yes, it sprays all over the primary, so it looks like a charge problem.
2) The upper developer seal has a thick mylar backing. If the seal is peeled of but the mylar backing left behind, when the new seal is installed the seal gets closer and closer to the drum. I've seen developing units that had (4) backings plus a developer seal.
If this is a cartridge machine, that doesn't change anything. The cartridge still has a developing section.
