Re: MX-4101N firmware MODEL NOT MATCH
[ In 22-10 it is in fact an MX-4101N and the Security Kit says MXFR11. Am I missing something?
Current Firmware is MAIN 01.00.JC BOOT 01.00JC LANG 01.15.P2 GRAPH 01.02.J2 IMG 01.02.J2 PCU 01.15.J2[/QUOTE]
If 22-06 says DSK is MXFR11 and not FR11U then it has the Common Criteria firmware that is not upgradable.Comment

Re: MX-4101N firmware MODEL NOT MATCH
I'm forwarding the following suggestion form a long time friend of Copytechnet. He confirms DavePo's comments:
There is a major difference between FR11 and FR11U in the data security kits. The FR11 is the common criteria version and is never updated from original, while the FR11U is the commercial version and is now up to version 05.01 for ICU main.
Because the 22-10 data shows the common criteria model is installed, there is nothing more to be done. You can manually update the finisher firmware separately but the engine is up to date already.
Either leave it alone or remove the DSK by hdd format and DSK flashrom removals back to originals.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: MX-4101N firmware MODEL NOT MATCH
Common Criteria DSK's are certified. If you upgrade a CC DSK, you've changed the properties of the DSK, making it no longer certified. Therefore, you cannot update a CC DSK machine. At least that's how I remember it.Comment
