    Toshiba ES-4511 cf20 error

Hello I am having a CF20 error on a ES-4511. This was the original call. I am not too familiar with this machine. I have removed the drum and transfer belt and vacuumed out. I blew off the Image quality sensor. I reinstallled everything. Now I get a CE40 error. I removed the exit tray cover and watched the belt. at power on It goes in to calibration and I watch these color patches in the middle being laid. as soon as I see the yellow coming around it stops with that error CE40. Then I went in to test mode and did a test print and it went in to CF20. Any help would be appreciatted I need to fix this thing.

    things to check...
    • Revolver Motor No Good ( if it's got a gold coloured gear it's the old type, new type has a dark grey gear ) this has been the biggest cause of CF20 i've had.
    • Revolver Backlash ( does it rock backwards & forwards slightly when operated by hand? ) , this can be adjusted with the screws on the revolver motor. but make sure to not end up with the revolver too tight.
    • Teeth missing on Revolver unit. ( it only takes one or 2 missing )
    • Colour Dev ( s ) worn
    • Colour Dev drive gear / clutch worn ( or bushings very tight )
    • Colour ATS U/S
    • Solenoid Dirty for Colour ATS ( inside )
    • Spring for Colour ATS return Stretched / Incorrectly fitted / Damaged
I tend to check the Motor 1st, the list could go on, but these i find to be the most common causes.

    Good Luck.
