when to the call and when printing or copying the magenta puts a back round haze but not all the time it comes and goes so I took a dv and drum unit out of a working machine plus a new oem toner
and it still does it although much darker now with the new drum and dv could this be the hvt or the led printhead what say you guys
    thanks

Once you provide the sample I can comment.

I have concerns though, when you swap in used components of unknown provenance, without doing calibrations, and expect something to be fixed. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Why do you think the world is in such a mess?

No phonebooths! Clark Kent has no where to change!
