this machine is copying light on the bottom of page. The prints from the computer are fine. Doesnt matter if you run off glass or dsdf. as far i could see there are no baffles to change the amount of light . The troubleshooting guide mentions (a shading correction plate).If there is one i dont see it. thanks in advance!!!

Couple things. Any chance the clips that hold the mirrors have popped loose?
Next, double check between the lens & the CCD element for any dust. If the environment
is "dusty" sometimes dust can get on the back side of the lens and the CCD. -

A sample would be nice ... and consumable yields. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

just a follow up. Thanks again Rusty Harris! The ccd side of the lens was dusted, cleaned it and the ccd, faded copies are gone!Comment
