I wasted a good hour trying to get a e4525AC/GD1370NA fax board connected to a GrandStream ATA to send a fax.
I played round with all kinds of settings in Field Service 13 fax mode but I could not get the fax board to transmit a fax.
I could see the customer's fax trying to connect with my same fax board and I got all of the usual handshake noises but the fax would not transmit.
I finally discovered the customer is using a Grandstream HT801 ATA (analog telephone adaptor) but I am unable to give the IT Manager any advise on how to configure it.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
In the past, I was working with a Cisco ATA. This large custoner's IT Dept was convinced it was the copier's faullt but in the end they had to enable a passthrough
