High voltage transformer abnormaility.

Copier had been running fine in same location for years.

The four things listed in the service manual are
Is the main charger installed securely.
Check if the spring of the high-voltage supply contact point is deformed.
Check if the needle electrode is broken or the main charger grid is deformed.
Check if any foreign matter is on the needle electrode of main charger grid.

Are any of these likely or do I need to just replace the HV Transformer?

Most likely one of the hangers for one of the main charges is broken, and the end block will need to be replaced. Hopefully did not damage the electrode or grid.
