Getting Error Code C47...Replaced IH Board, Fuser and Hard Drive. Still can't reset machine. I know it's a power voltage problem. Can anyone shed some light on this problem? Thanks....Ron

Did you reset 08-400 to 0. Sometimes you have to have the front door open to get to the reset screen. Also check the plugs on the back of the fuser and the adu unit. If these have paper in them or one side or the other is cracked it will give this message. And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right! -
oh man good luck. um.. ive seen the fuser connector in the back of the machine get a hairline crack and code out. also the frame of the adu where the fuser sits, make sure its not tweaked. ive seen the logic board also code out fuser codes.Comment

Maybe a dumb question but did you check the thermostats? I have also seen the front door interlock get stuck down (closed.) And what will happen is when the copier door is opened and the fuser drawer pulled out the machine will instantly code... can't remember if it gives this code or not.I will not give you service manuals or firmware.Comment

Some of the thing I have seen in the past are bad therostates and holders I usually replace both of them and the holders at the same time, bad thermistors or the harness gets pinched under the red cover, you may want to replace the fuser connector and ADU connection and replace these as a set. I have had several unites over the years were these connectors start to fail due to a poor connection. Their is a factory update for the fuser conector you may want to make sure its install. Some other hints leave the fuser /ADU unit pulled out and reset 08 code 400 then try to start the unit if the c47 code comes up right away and the fuser unit did not start to heat up it is probley the conectors, IH board or logic board. I hope that helps.Comment

Check connector under the fuser the one to the ADU connector but check it on the inside the wire harness gets pulled out of the Frame connector which plugs in from both sides.Comment

I have had to pack out the connector on the back of the fuser with a few washers to push it into the plug in the machine harder. Also had the shielding on the heat bar slightly damaged cause this.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. ~Thomas EdisonComment

had the same problem with my studio 650, getting errors C46, C47, C48 for several times every day. It was like splinter in my ass. Changed main door switch and now no more codes for more than 2 weeks. You can hear switch arching after closing front door ,try adjusting switch pusher at first, if arching still heard then change main switch. Don't forget 08-400 to 0. Sorry for my englich. Good luck !Comment
