If it turns out not to be any of the normal causes I have had FW updates fix two weird jamming issues on this box. Just FYI.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Check all the guide wheels along the paper path, sometimes they can pop out of place, the larger paper will run because there is still paper contacting rollers that still have guide wheels working at the lead or trail edge of the paper. Try legal size paper and see if that jams.

Good looking and testing in service mode are not enough. It seems that exit sensor gets corrupted because of the heat. If firmware won't help change exit sensor.
I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

I've had that e510 jam problem a few times over the last year. I swapped the duplexer with another machine and it follows the duplex unit. Replaced sensors and clutch, still had problem. Replaced board in duplex unit and prblem went away. Now I just swap the duplex unit with a used one, from the boneyard, when the 510 errors occurs.
