    Hello
Considering that friends send many messages about programming Altalink 80 series devices and most of them have problems, I will try to upload all Altboot problems in the form of a diagram in this forum by tomorrow.

If this procedure dont works and presuming the copier dont have another defect the last option is to do altboot from machine pws altboot. That mean you must have pws altboot software.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your opinion. There is no need to use a new sd. It can do this with any sd ram of 4 or 8 gig, even if it has been used before. It is only necessary to use the image of a healthy sd card.

The files that I have posted the link to are the files of the full version of Altboot. Unfortunately, our friend formatted the hard drive and the boot partition is lost, and he needs the file SWUP. Otherwise, he can take a backup from a similar hard drive.

Your problem is not with the file, flash or software, you have formatted the boot hard partitions, the file SWUP.USB is available on the site of Xerox technicians and you do not have access to it. The best solution for you is to take an image of the hard drive of the same device with the software ACTIVE DISK IMAGE and Restore on your hard drive, this will solve your problem.
Of course, it should be noted that when you reset the hard drive, reprogram the device with the same method as you had done.
