Altalink C8070 Unable to decrypt DLM
The Issue I started with the unable to decrypt DLM, Using the files from this thread and from Detonation , I was able to see the "Decrypting" screen and then the install screen. After removing the USB and reboot, the machine continues to boot loop. I've upload a photo of the install screen.

The original issue was the SBC went bad and I replaced and installed the SD and HDD from the original SBC.

My thought is that according to hnami , the swup_usb file on this thread is 81KB and should be 83kb. Since I was able to see the install screen, I'm wondering if I need the 83kb file?
The POST indicator light is a lowercase n. I can't find any documentation for "n"

Not sure if this helps anyone, but here is the link for the 101... C8070 high end altboot. https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/...content/146481
I've noticed that if you have a low or high end URL, change the last digit to find what you're looking for. For example the link for the 45_50 ended in 479. I changed it to 481 and found the high end version that I was looking for.

It gets past the error and tries to load the software after I re-image the hard drive. But after a while it shows a "software installation error" on the screen and I have to reboot. then goes back to the "unable to decrypt .dlm..." error on next bootup with the special altboot folder using FORCED_UPGRADE and DISABLE_DATA_BACKUP files and AltaLink_C8045_55_ALTBOOT_system-sw10300201114100 firmware
I have just ordered a new hard drive and 4GB SD card and will go back to try again after they arrive.
Any advice before I go back?
    Thanks
    Oh oops
I'm sorry. It's late at night and my brain has fallen asleep. The correct link is this

Thanks. How do I obtain that version? I search Xerox site but don't find any altboot versions even though you posted the 103.xxx version link from there.

I did use the firmware file with ALTBOOT in the name that you provided.

Trying again, if it fails I will try imaging the SD card and give it another shot.
    Thanks

They got a used machine, Altalink C8045. I hit the CLEAR CUSTOMER DATA function in the menu to get rid of old data. It failed the software reload and now I get your "unable to decrypt " message.
I have DL the files and instructions, thank you
Question - this does not look like a normal SD card. Is there some special adapter or how do I get the downloaded file onto the card?
    Thanks for any help.
