[Misc] Xerox 510dp dumping develoger

Problem: Xerox 510dp dumping developer, Code or error 3 when doing electrostatics 09-04.
I have swapped drum, developer housing, charge and transfer/detact assembly from a working 8850, all ground wires/contacts are in place. What else should I check?
Also I have a xerox 8830 that when turned on the controll panel flashes a LL-55 code then
some other numbers back and forth, can't go into diagnostics.
So I'm down to just my 8850, any help would be appreciated.

8830 LL55 is LVPS fault, missing 10V

.LL-55 on POST because of no 10V from LVPS 25V power supply module is bad.






Replace 25V power supply, 105E13863 (left of the two when viewed from the rear), Item #9 from parts list 1.1B.

Saves money over replacing entire LVPS assembly (105K18263).

if you get error code 3 during 09 04 setup, you should check coronode or erase lamp for short or open circut.
check erase lamp in diagnostic mode, could be that leds on it do not work.

Thank you for the info. leds came on when first checked, but I went back and rechecked after your post and they were not coming on. I found a pinched wire and repaired it , now it 's working again. So, somtimes it really helps to be able to get a fresh view, thanks.

Also I pulled the LVPS and sent it in for repair, should get it back next week.

I might be a little late for this post, but just to share some of my experience with .LL-55. Both on 8830 and 8825 the problem was with the switch of the cutter drawer. No PWB, no Mainboards...nothing...just a switch with loose contacts....
