[Dead] Xerox WC Pro 245 - OF3 Dead Machine RAP

Xerox WorkCentre Pro 245:

You can power it on, the lights to the right of the display will come on, then everything shuts off.

Service manual says: "Go to the OF3 Dead Machine RAP"


OF3 Dead Machine RAP does not exist. I cannot find it anywhere.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Make sure the hard drive in the controller is connected ( data and power ).

try replacing NVM module or upload MBR nvm

I would run through the 01J RAP.

Well the tech never got back to me about this so I'm not sure if anything worked. Thanks for the help everyone!

Normaly is a LVPS problem, but if you replace LVPS and the problem still there then you have to replace HVPS also and verify UI PWB (can make your hell life...). When is NVM the machine is booting but with speed/drum/fuser error. Then you need to replace battery and reload NVM.

Hi , I having same issue with my XEROX WC Pro 245 from today morning , while booting i heard little sound like "thud" and then it went down, after switching on again , Green led's beside LCD comes up and within 10 seconds complete machine shuts down.I doubt some fuse may have been blown.Please let me know where can i check for fuses..?
Kindly help me with service manual.
