    Colour misregistration on DC3535

I have an odd situation where my DC3535 prints perfectly well in normal/bond mode (even when I print to heavier papers in that mode) but when I try to print any of the heavyweight modes (heavyweight/coated 1/coated 2 etc) I have a massive problem with yellow registration that is off by 2-3mm in the print direction.

    Any clues on this one?

Paul, I bought the manual from you already.

I also have a PWS and with neither can I get anywhere, doing regicon comes up with NG results

Downloaded and installed a general patch that's supposed to fix a lot of issues but it didn't do anything for me, doesn't look like any of the others available will sort this out.

There is a Fiery system software version 1.1P, I already have 1.1 (without the P) and I wonder if there is anything for me to gain by getting the 1.1P

If you perform color registration from PWS and get NG result, then fiery patch will not help you.

Try to perform procedure from service manual for color registration.

                Hi xcopytech,

Do you mean the procedure for turning the adjustment screws on the ROS as outlined in DC685 (adjustment 9.6)?

If so, we've done that and, as I mentioned, if I print to "normal/bond" the registration is perfect, even printing on 135gsm artpaper using the "Bond S" setting. Only when we use heavyweight 1 or 2 or coated 1 or 2 do we get the issue.
