Is anybody knows how adjust density on top of copies. My Xerox 5352 makes black lines about 0.5-1" from top of the page on standard density setting. Does Xerox has some kind of setup service screen, where I can adjust density on edges like on other machines? All glass and mirrors are clean. Thaks for help.

Xerox 5352
When I run a clear sheet even in very light density, I have light grey copy out instead clear white. I is all over a page. I wish I know how change density programmable, so I can set it level down, if my Xerox has that function.
Thanks for help.Comment

Unfortunately I'm not a pro, but I think it is something with exposure. It does grey background when set to autoexposure or higher, but when I set it to very low, copies are fine. I have this problem only about a month. I don't know what to do. If I had a service manual, I would figure out, but now I'm only hoping on your guys help.Comment

Did you clean charge scorotron? Any result?
May be drum life is over. Do you have the same c.q on a long copy run or differs from copy to copy? If drum exceeds its life-over 250K-these are the symptoms you describe above. (Can you swap E.R.U with a good one?) As for the S.M or copy quality adj. on this model i think its very complicated for someone who doesn't work on Xerox analog models. I wish i could help more!Comment

If I remember right the drs (Distance between mag roller and drum) is not even, you have to replace the developer housing shoes (Little brown half moon plastic type thing), they sit where drum and developer housing touch each other, and then you have to set up (calibrate the ADC sensor.
Good luck!!!
