    Duplo DP220Le problem

How do adjust master timing? We work mainly on Ricoh (but only 1 or 2).
As it is ejecting the old master it is already trying to feed the new master.
Previous company said main board, but they didn't know what they where doing.
Would anyone have an idea? We are just trying to help out an old customer.
If we need in sims, could you please tell us how?

    Thank you

Please, is anyone familier with this problem.
We could really use the help.
It is for a school district and we are trying to help them.
The company that sold it to them refuse to do anything for them.

      Thanks

I have only been trained on one duplicator and it was a Gestetner about 10 years ago

My only advice would be to clean everything in the area as I know these machines are as susceptible to ink as copiers are to toner .... sorry I cant be of more help but based on what you are describing it sounds like a dirty sensor problem or a dirty solenoid or clutch or the original company is right about the MB

There are some adjustments in the back (timing marks) that affect this - I will look it up and get back with you...

            Thanks DDS,
Would you happen to know where I could get a service and parts manual for this machine?

            Thanks

Can you tell the exact problem? As the manual says ''in the plate making process, the old master on the drum is removed while the thermal head creates the scanned image on the new master and transfers it onto the drum''.Check the position of the drum when the clamp opens to release the old master and the next position to open for the new master. There are two levers for this job.Check if the lever of the clamp on the drum is in position with the two levers for the release and feed of the master. There is one motor to control this with one belt moving both the levers. There are two sensors with cams for the open-close position.Check if they are clean.I hope that I gave you same help!I was working as duplo engineer, so you can ask me for more if I can help!

                        Dear my BROTHER,

                        Don't play the mechanism.

There are two sponge rollers in the master conveying section. Check the condition. If they are worn out or got soft change them.
If they are bad timing and master attaching problem will occur.
