    mfc-l5800dw jam inside (7000 code)

Tech in the shop working on a Brother, shows jam inside.
Nothing found. Drum unit swapped, eject board assembly
replaced. Still shows the jam inside.
Tech said the SM says to replace the high voltage unit.

Any other ideas for him before he does that. It's getting to the
point it would be probably cheaper to toss it.

    TIA

What is exact jam code in maintenance mode please?
We only replaced few main boards on this family, otherwise they are pretty solid for us.

I'll have to ask...the tech working on it has been in the field the last few days.
I'm not touching it with a 10 foot pole.
I HATE these tiny boxes with the interlocking covers. It's like trying to take apart
a jigsaw puzzle, in the dark, with your hands behind your back.

i saw you said the eject assy was replaced. i am looking at the service manual. i haven't worked on this exact model. but the 7000 error points to the sensor. is that sensor in the eject assy you replaced? or on the copier itself?
