Do you folks replace them?
To me, it seems better to just go ahead and replace the whole carriage, depending on how you bill the customer. I bill by the hour for designjets, and flex cables take a while (they did every time I've attempted it, anyway). In the end, it really only has a chance of fixing the problem, yet I still have to bill for all that time.
