HP 4200, 4250 envelope feeder

Can the HP 4200 series (Q2438B) envelope feeders be rebuilt? I could not find a parts book or much information on these. See at least 2 rollers that are worn. Have 3 of them that need at least these 2 rollers.

Thanks for the replies.

Ok then I will have to take the skins off and scrub the rollers real good.

Funny how you see these being sold as "rebuilt" & "refurbished". Hate to think all their doing is cleaning the rollers and charging $200. This is what made me think of my original post, maybe there are rollers available since some are advertised as "rebuilt".

In the past i have seen TSA sell parts for enevelope feeders, duplexers etc for printers like the 4100. They are canon parts.

That's an idea. A lot of these envelope feeders have the same parts and there's probably a Canon equivalent.

TSA doesn't sell any parts for envelope feeders. When I asked about the "refurbished" they sell I was told they are "just cleaned"

I would be very surprised if you could not find equivalent rollers of some manufacturer, yes probably Canon, then push them onto the hubs. What are the dimensions of the rollers you want to replace? Pictures too. I'll help match them. =^..^=

I will look at the rollers again in next week or so. But I think at least one of the rollers is molded right onto shaft. So not able to replace just the roller.
