you can get an Epson T5270 for about 2500.00 and it is faster - cheaper to run and easier to repair.

Here in Algeria we do not have a resource Epson and consumables.

The T1100 has been discontinued for some time now. The T795 would be your best bet.

What do you mean by a 'tracer'? Do you need a scanner?

At present I do not want the scanner for financial conditions but what do you think of the T830 eMultifunction for the T795

Personally I think the T790/T795 is a better printer. The T830 uses a unified printhead and I've already seen 2 printers with leaky tube assemblies. Plus the T830 is 36" wide, the T79x is 44" wide. If you need the scanner the T830 is probably the best way to go at the moment.

Are you kidding me?

I get 3 or 4 calls per week from people angry because they can't find anyone to fix their epsons. The closest epson dealer to my city is 120 miles away. And Epson is big on not sharing their repair info. HP techs are everywhere.

I get a few a month too. No one here to repair them it seems. Though I've only seen about two Epsons out in my travels. Seems they're not very popular.

Have worked on ONE. Luckily it was easy. Clean the pickup roller.

The only significant difference between the T930 and the T1500, is the T1500 can take 2 rolls of media where the T930 only takes one.
